Sir/Madam
Thank you for responding.
Please see attached document that has been quickly prepared and does not claim to be thorough nor referenced but indicates the scale of the
problems – see attached file: PNLD database.pdf
The background to these edits relies on a thorough knowledge about the legislation and I refer you to that public information at pedlars.info
website.
Please confirm what formal procedure is available for us to have an input into correcting this database to more accurately represent the law.
sincerely

We are grateful for your assistance in ensuring our information is accurate and will be making amendments to our answers based on your recommendations.
Whilst we must ensure that our answers are legally accurate, you must appreciate that our answers aim to provide basic information to members of the public who are interested in acting as a pedlar. We wish to inform them of the kind of activity that would require a certificate and the process of acquiring one. We feel our answers, on the whole, achieve this. We do not claim to be an authority on pedlary and believe that including the many nuances of caselaw on the subject would make our answers more difficult for a casual reader to understand.
However, we would like to include a link on the relevant pages to your website so that those members of the public who wish to gain more
information can do so. Such a link would be provided on the right hand side of the question in the ‘related information’ section.

Andrew Holt

Dear Andrew
Thank you for your reply though it is not clear… you say you will be making amendments and then go on to say you feel your answers are satisfactory… which is it?
I am sure the link will assist enquirers but of greater concern is that you may intend changing nothing in which case I must escalate this concern.
The answers to the questions can be rewritten and as a matter of public importance should be.
I await your reply
sincerely
Robert
