The COW Act is private legislation introduced to prohibit pedlary in Westminster by shifting the burden onto private residences and to other jurisdictions.
The legislation has not been tested by Judicial Review and is the subject of Petitions in Parliament against similar private bills in the current session.
Petitioners contend human rights infringements, incompatability with ECHR, restraint of trade, anomaly, reverse burden and not proved to be in the General Interest.
